As a Sales Director will have an in-depth knowledge and experience with the sales process, from lead generation to relationship building and closing deals. You will lead by example, being strategic as well as hands on.Quick to learn with strong negotiating skills and with a track record of success, you will inspire the same in others.

This role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate to create and maintain a high performing sales team.

As a Sales Director you will:

  • Represent my client with a comprehensive understandings of what they offer

  • Research consumer needs and identify how solutions meet their needs

  • Train, motivate and advise a team of business development managers and sales people

  • Represent my client at various events, i.e. conferences, trade fairs and networking events

  • Achieve objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data and projecting future performance

  • Continuously develop personal leadership and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives

  • Help to generate leads, build and nurture client relationships

  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of my clients products and services


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration

  • A background in Automation or software is preferable but not essential

  • 5+ years in sales management within a corporate setting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven track record of success in the sales process from plan to close

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

  • First class leadership skills

  • Results orientated with strong analytical skills

  • Excellent understanding of CRM systems and best practices

  • Proficient in Microsoft office

  • Ability to travel
