Managing Director (MD) - This role requires you to be in the office 5 days a week initially.

My client offers innovative factory floor solutions that provide control from the arrival of the raw material to dispatch of the packed product. Increased productivity and profitability are central to my clients product delivery with a full return on investment typically achieved within twelve months from installation.
These systems are based on my clients suite of products, which are designed to maximise productivity. The data generated from their systems also provide real time reporting, allowing management to make informed decisions about all aspects of their packing operations, leading to sustained and measurable increases in profitability.
As the Managing Director - you will be responsible to meet and exceed growth & profitability targets for my client solutions and develop next-generation strategy. Drive and deliver growth across the business through full P&L responsibility of the business:
Drive business objective achievement through effective cross-functional and regional relationship building and effective prioritization of business objectives.
Develop marketplace opportunities, lead sales pursuits, oversee internal processes, and provide employee leadership in the achievement of common goals.
Design and implement a strong strategic plan growing the bottom-line profit growth and increasing customer base
Be a change agent for culture and mind-set within the business in line with strategic plan for the future
Ensure a safe and engaged workforce and customer satisfaction, in collaboration with managers, peers, employees and cross-functional teams.

Personal Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field required
Minimum 5 years of experience managing direct and international experience
MBA preferred
Prior experience with capital equipment or produce industries
Demonstrated experience with business and financial analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing direct teams internationally
Strong sales management and direct customer engagement
Industry experience, preferred but not required
Strong tactical and strategic skills required
Ability to motivate and build high performing teams
Process/systems and results orientated
Manages change through exploration and learning
Ability to provide reliable judgement in complex situations
