Digital Marketing Assistant - DMA

Digital Marketing Assistant - Full Time/ part time may be considered - Maternity Cover 9 months to a Year.

My client is looking for a digital Marketing Assistant- to cover maternity leave.

The role is to enhance my clients online presence and to optimise digital marketing activities as well as working on bringing together internal communications.

You would be expected to:

  • To work with the Communications and Marketing team to implement strategies that boost web traffic.

  • To maintain and update content on the website.

  • To conduct content audits to identify content gaps and eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.

  • To analyse web analytics reports and track performance.

  • Co- create a fortnightly newsletter

  • To deliver email marketing campaigns to the relevant target audiences.

  • To track and report on email campaigns to optimise campaign performance.

  • To understand brand guidelines and consistently implement guidelines across campaigns.

  • To proof-read all planned content for each email campaign to ensure accurate and engaging messaging.

  • To work with the Data Manager to ensure integrity of email subscriber lists and monitor data entry processes where necessary.

  • To research, create and curate high quality and timely content for my clients social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn)

  • Update the website with new events.

  • To create and schedule pre- and post-event email campaigns.

  • Support the team with analysis of event attendance and dropout rates, using CRM and email marketing.

Undertake any reasonable request or other related duties as required by the Director of Admissions and Marketing.

Ideal Person:

  • Excellent design and writing skills.

  • Excellent ICT skills - experience of Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage.

  • Detail and accuracy oriented.

  • A 'can do’ attitude and positive outlook.

  • A high degree of motivation, initiative, and drive.

  • Ability to build rapport with staff at all levels in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Well-organised, flexible and professional approach.

  • Willingness to work flexibly to prioritise workload and complete tasks to deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus.

  • Experience using email marketing platforms.

  • Experience using website content management systems.

  • An understanding of the importance of brand identity and its consistency across all media.

Desirable

  • Competency with the principles of email automation and segmentation.

  • Experience with CRM software.

  • An understanding of SEO techniques and proficiency in Google Analytics.

This is a fixed term contract of up to one year to cover maternity leave. Full time, 36.25 hours a week, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5.15pm.

Competitive salary dependant on skills and experience.
