My client is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Service charge Bookkeeper to join their friendly team.
This role doesn’t require much experience as the software does a lot of the work; it might suit someone with some experience and a willingness to learn. The role does require the following.
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, inputting data and processing transactions, and supporting some of my clients accounting functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with good attention for detail as well as an interest your career in the property industry.
Accounting software and a keen eye for detail to contribute to the smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
Work with reconciliations, budgets, year-end packs and auditor liaison
Comfortable working within a regulated managing agent environment
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
Ensure all financial data is correctly recorded.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents and records.
An interest in Bookkeeping and Property as this role comes with progression.
An understanding or interest of accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Willingness to learn and take direction
A good head for figures
Remuneration
Annual salary circa 25k plus. Full training and support on my client’s software. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Career progression.
