Recruitment Consultant
My award willing client are now looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their lovely and very successful team in Kent. This is a Hybrid role working from home three days and two days from home.
Your role as a recruitment consultant is to generate revenue through the development of new and existing client relationships and the successful delivery of permanent recruitment assignments. The role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from business development and vacancy qualification through to candidate sourcing, placement management, and post-placement relationship development.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Client Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive business development activity.
Conduct client meetings to understand recruitment needs, business objectives, and hiring strategies.
Promote my client’s recruitment services and maintain a strong market presence.
Negotiate terms of business and fees in line with company policy.
Source, identify, and attract suitable candidates using a range of channels, including database searches, advertising, networking, referrals, and direct approaches.
Qualify candidates thoroughly in relation to experience, motivations, suitability, and salary expectations.
Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, including briefing, interview preparation, offer management, and onboarding support.
Build and maintain long-term candidate relationships to support future business generation.
Match appropriate candidates to vacancies and present shortlisted applicants in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure all recruitment activity is accurately recorded and managed through the company CRM and internal systems.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the recruitment market, including salary trends, hiring patterns, and competitor activity.
Provide clients and candidates with informed advice on market conditions, recruitment strategy, and talent availability.
Contribute market insight and intelligence to support divisional growth.
Work collaboratively with the resourcing team to ensure effective candidate delivery.
Ideal Person:
Essential
Previous recruitment experience.
Demonstrable experience placing Tech, Insurance of legal candidates
Proven track record of achieving billing targets and developing client relationships.
Strong business development capability and commercial awareness.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Resilient, self-motivated, and results driven.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
