Hybrid or Remote- Recruitment Consultant DH RCA


Having been established for 20 plus years and with offices in London and in Kent, my client are looking for an additional recruitment consultant to join their team of circa 35 employees.

Their recruitment model is 360 and retained business. With many recognised and household names as their clients, they are looking for someone with some experience in Recruitment and ideally with a hunter mindset, working in the Professional services markets.

Overview of the role:

To undertake new business development and secure new customer wins in line with the company service offerings.

To build productive and value-adding relationships with clients across a specific market or niche.

To manage and deliver an outstanding 360 recruitment process for permanent, contract, temporary or retained assignments individually or in collaboration with other GW recruitment and delivery consultants.

Specific duties

  • Being an ambassador and adhering to the company principles

  • Achieving agreed targets for candidate generation, interviews, placements and new clients

  • Liaising with new and existing clients, gathering full company and vacancy information, agreeing Terms of Business, working with the individual company’s recruitment processes. And where appropriate attend client visits

  • To be fully aware of what is happening within the specific marketplace you recruit in

  • Sourcing and selecting candidates through a variety of media including job boards (for example Reed, CV Library, Total Jobs) , social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), Recommendations, Referrals, Head hunting

  • Identifying skills to match appropriately with vacancies

  • Registering, briefing, debriefing and making offers to candidates

  • Negotiating contracts/packages with successful candidates

  • Giving constructive feedback/rejection reasons to candidates

  • Advertising live roles/positions on job boards, company website, LinkedIn

  • Responding to candidate applications

  • Dealing with general queries relating to contracts, pay, logistics etc.

  • To be aware of industry developments

  • Undertaking any further training as and when required

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working within a recruitment/sales environment

  • Experience of managing external clients, face to face or over the phone

Person specification

  • Have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Have the ability to gain people's confidence and put them at ease

  • Possess excellent listening skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritise workloads

  • Have good organisational and administrative skills

  • Enjoy achieving and exceeding client deadlines/timeframes/targets

  • A collaborative working approach

Negotiable salary depending on experience and uncapped commission.
