A great opportunity has arisen for someone looking to start their career as a Finance Associate and join my clients growing team of three Finance Associates. Over the past 12-months they have experienced 50% growth.!
Reporting to the CFO who has overall responsibility for finance and operations, my client works in the global technical recruitment space.
Your role as a finance associate:
Primarily involve managing and booking payments to suppliers contractor workforce).
Booking and reconciling payments from clients to enable the month-end and weekly pay runs to take place smoothly and on time.
In addition, your role may involve, Contract creation & management (incl. chasing compliance paperwork & contract signature)
Client, contractor, and employee invoicing and payment
Payment and booking of company overheads
Management of day books and bank reconciliations
Client and contractor contractual and invoicing queries
Updating the database with candidate details and uploading proof of ID
General office administration (post, restocking, and filing)
Production of contractor references
You will be comfortable working with numbers and have great attention to detail.
Prior knowledge of Excel and Sage 50 would be useful, as would a basic understanding of bookkeeping.
AAT training would be an advantage but is not essential.
Training will be provided.
You will be motivated to pursue a career in Finance
Have an interst in studying accounts qualifications
First class attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft especailly Excel
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Can do and willing attitude

This is a full time role working Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm finishing at 5pm on Fridays. Role also offers some hybrid working following your probationary period.
Annual salary 24-26k plus a host of benefits that come from working with my client, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, healthcare etc.
