Content Marketing Coordinator - Full Time or 4 days a week will be considered. Are you passionate about writing long form copy as well as short form? Do you have a background in communications, or an interest in working in the charity sector during your career so far? This is an exiting opportunity for a commercially minded person with significant experience in writing, editing, and proofing content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate must be a good writer with an exceptional eye for detail. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Business Development. Your Key responsibilities will be:
Write, edit, and proof content for multiple print marketing collateral, i.e., Impact Reports, Quality Reports, Information Guides and social media.
Create engaging, content for 3 websites. Optimising content for search visibility based on SEO findings.
Production of two monthly e-newsletters.
You will oversee the creation of Case Studies and produce engaging, compelling, and relatable content to be used on the websites and in e-newsletters.
On occasion, when requested, you will be expected to produce press releases for my clients PR agency.
It is expected that you will maintain a press contact database.
You will assist when required in the preparation of events/webinars for the public, stakeholders, and other professionals.
You may be asked to assist in other tasks outside your main duties from time to time.
Ideal Person:
Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably a journalistic/communications background.
Minimum 3-years’ experience working in a similar Content/Communications focused role.
Be a creative 'storyteller’ whilst being process-driven and data-focused.
High level of IT skills. Specific experience in WordPress, Hootsuite, and Mailchimp.
An understanding of SEO.
Experience of Microsoft 365 would be helpful but not essential.
