Account Manager/ Sales Person
A Great Opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager/ Sales Person to join my client in a technical advisory capacity. This role is suitable for an experienced person or trainee and is office based.
Leads are provided as my client has good presence online, which generate a lot of enquiries. The opportunity is due to growth. Working from office/ showrooms, working with a small team, you will be liaising with high end clients who make enquiries and are invited to the premises.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in this industry. If you're a natural sales person with good technical/ IT skills as well as having the capability to have conversations with potential clients and convert leads from enquiries into clients.
Key responsibilities:
Provide customers with quotations negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
Translate architects plans, technical drawings
Liaise with clients/ architects/ contractors to gain the required details
Follow up with clients and provide re-quotes if requested.
Meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits.
Provide advice and technical support to clients and develop initial quotations into secured orders
Negotiating contracts and packages and close sales
Provide support to Sales, Office, and Installation teams
Report any problems to Sales Manager / Managing Director
Demonstrating and presenting products at showroom and at trade exhibitions or events
Record quotation, sales and register in CRM system
General administration duties
Meeting agreed sales targets and maximising sales opportunities
This is an office-based role although customer visits or attendance of trade shows may be required from time to time.
Ideal Person:
Excellent communication skills
Happy to work in a busy environment work under pressure and to deadlines
Third level qualification of equivalent
Previous experience working as an estimator is advantageous
Understanding of architectural drawings/ building industry
Can read and understanding architects drawings/ plans
Highly organised, with meticulous attention for detail
Demonstrable customer facing experience
High level of computer literacy
Confident in your approach
Calm under pressure
Self-motivated and driven to succeed
Team player
Full UK driving licence
Annual basic salary circa 25k plus depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn bonus and build a career with a first class company.
