A wonderful opportunity has arisen for this Large Freight Forwarding Organisation based near Heathrow Airport. The role is for a territory/ Field Sales Person to cover Kent/ East Sussex and part of London.
My client are a Global logistics, Supply Chain Management and Freight Forwarding company who have been established for over 30 years and are a PLC.
As a Territory Sales Executive, you will be responsible for a designated territory within the aforementioned areas. Regardless of experience, you will be required to complete product training and thus be able to sell all services. You will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying potential clients. This is a consultative sales role. In conjunction with local management, you will also be responsible for proposing customised logistic solutions to the customer, closing business, and the implementation and retention of business. You will be expected to meet specific net revenue and sales call goals.
The ideal candidate will both be operational and have sales experience, Experience in air export is desired, but not required. A demonstrated ability to self-manage and motivate is critical. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. You must have a professional attitude and attire.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and organise work efforts to exceed sales plan as developed in conjunction with local management.
Achieve sales goals through hands-on market planning, personal sales execution and development of business relationships with key customers, new business and retention.
Maintain constant familiarisation of product offerings and developments.
Research and maintain current information regarding:
Top customers and their requirements
Specific solutions offered to customers
Previous experience in sales, sense of urgency, attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities, working well under pressure.
Basic salary circa mid 20's plus uncapped commission company car allowance and bens.
