Internet System Developers

My client, a technology-led Company that enables a wide portfolio of high street retail clients to enjoy the benefits of a virtual in-house sales, customer service and fulfilment operation is looking for Internet Systems Developers to join their busy team based in Edinburgh.

The company operates in the incentive and motivation market working with global based retailers providing unique software and systems solutions.

They work closely with their clients to provide tailor made solutions that ensure increased sales and profitability. The Company now provides its services including bespoke IT and web based solutions for nearly 40% of the UK high street, and due to innovation and IT development, has seen its own business double in the past 12 months.

The positions are within a varied and fast-paced environment and offer candidates the opportunity for advancement within a rapidly expanding team.

The candidates must display excellent technical and problem solving skills and be conversant with Python (and Django), PHP and SQL technologies. The positions require candidates to demonstrate good written and spoken communication skills, flexibility and willingness to travel.

Essential Skill Requirements

• Ability to produce software of an exceptional standard and quality.

• Ability to build new web applications and services and to support and strengthen existing  systems.

• Able to drive innovation by offering ideas and input towards current processes.

Technical Requirements

• Skilled in a range of programming languages and technologies (strong OO skills preferred).

• Good understanding of web technologies.

 • Outstanding problem solving skills.

 • Self-motivated individuals who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 • Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at client meetings.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

 

Salary £23-30k and remuneration package (dependent on experience and proven results)

28 days holiday.
