My client offers award-winning publications, fast-growing websites, exciting events and much-acclaimed research. They are looking for an experienced Sponsorship Sales Executive to join their team. This role is sales focused and target driven.
The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing in revenue across their research events and a related publication.
The day to day role will include cold calling to gain new business, regular contact to retain and grow the accounts of their existing client base. There will also be extensive face-to-face presenting to clients.
This is a rewarding, demanding and busy role.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished event and sponsorship sales person, looking to expand their skills and experience. They will be quick and eager to learn, creative, motivated, enthusiastic and energetic. They will be very driven to succeed and exceed targets.
Skills, knowledge and attitudes:
• 24 months event/sponsorship sales experience
• DIPADA or equivalent training
• Proven client handling, negotiation and closing skills
• Enthusiasm and self motivation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisation and administration skills
• Proactive and energetic
• Numeracy
• Be a fast learner and a team player
• Interest in financial markets and investment products will be an advantage
• Eager to progress
In return you will receive a generous basic salary (circa 22K), uncapped quaterly commission (OTE 30K), 25 days holiday, Life Assurance and excellent career progression.
