My client, a well established publishing company based in central London, are looking for a Sales Executive to develop new and existing business relationships both face-to-face, by email and telephone. The successful candidate will also develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• To achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
• To increase business
• To maintain regular direct contact with existing customers and prospects
• To demonstrate the publishing programme, and online access software to existing and potential customers.
• To prepare forecasts, sales analyses, trip reports etc and attend exhibitions as required.
• Identify prospects and cultivate relationships with new potential customers
• Respond to leads generated from marketing efforts as well as cultivating self-generated prospects
• Formulate a strategic and tactical sales approach for each large, active opportunity
• Maintain relationships with members in partnership with the Account Manager
• To promote within given sales territory
• Provide accurate activity summaries and sales forecasts for management's review thus ensuring successful forecast management
Skills/Experience:
• Essential
• Will have experience working in sales for a publisher, preferably academic, and be looking to join a forward thinking, innovative organisation to sell memberships, subscriptions and online service.
• Be educated to degree standard or equivalent.
• Good PC skills and a high level of organisation are required.
• Fluency in Russian or Spanish
Salary to 22K plus bens.
